Thomas Beck Appointed Chief Commercial Officer at Keliber

Keliber is pleased to announce that Thomas Beck (M.Sc., Chemistry) has been appointed to the position of Chief Commercial Officer. Mr Beck will start at Keliber 1 May 2022 at the latest. He will report to the CEO, and he will join Keliber's Management Team.

Mr Beck joins Keliber from Albemarle, where he has worked in the sales of lithium products since 2016. Prior to that, he was at Rockwood Lithium from 2008 to 2015 and at Clariant International from 1998 to 2005.

"I am delighted to have Thomas appointed to the role of Chief Commercial Officer. Thomas has worked in selling lithium and chemical products for a long time and brings new expertise to Keliber," says Hannu Hautala, CEO.

In the role of Chief Commercial Officer, Thomas' mandate includes sales and customer contacts. 

Markus Spiess (M.Sc., Social and Business Sciences) will continue, until handover of his duties to Thomas Beck, as member of Keliber’s Management Team and Chief Commercial Officer, negotiating and closing offtake agreements.
