Kemira Oyj, Press Release, August 24, 2021 at 4.00 p.m. (EEST)

Kemira, a global chemical company, announces price increases for inorganic coagulants in Industry & Water, North America. The price increase is necessitated by significant increases in market pricing of key feedstocks used in production of iron and aluminum coagulants. Additionally, trucking logistics have been highly constrained and the cost of shipping has increased significantly.

The price increase will vary by product group and may differ for specific chemistry and plant locations.

The new prices will be effective for all deliveries of the products listed below from Oct. 1st , 2021 as contract terms allow.

Product Family Price Increase
Iron Coagulants 20 – 30%
Aluminium Coagulants 10 – 20%

We will continue to work to ensure reliable supply of high quality products for your operations and work to mitigate the cost increases.
