Bunn to Introduce 600kg Bags for Koch Advanced Nitrogen® Fertiliser and Urea
J&H Bunn Ltd. is introducing 600kg bags for its urea, urea-sulphur blends and Koch Advanced Nitrogen® fertiliser product lines.
This change will take effect immediately for some products, with all products making the transition from 500kg bags to 600kg bags in the autumn.
“The benefit of 600kg bags is logistics savings,” said Simon Borthwick, nitrogen manager for Bunn. “The larger bags allow growers to handle less packaging and make more passes in the field with less filling.”
Borthwick continued, “There will also be less haulage because growers are receiving more product per bag. Also, lorry loads will have the ability to reach maximum capacity of 28.2 tonnes since more product is packaged in each bag.”
