The latest innovation, technology and business strategies for sustainable crop production will be the focus of CropWorld North America, taking place at the Hilton Charlotte Center City, Charlotte, North Carolina on March 27 and 28, 2012.

The conference is the only event of its kind in North America to address all aspects of crop production from seed to consumer, and will hear from leading industry experts about the latest research findings, formulations and practices in crop protection and production.

A keynote address giving an overview of current policy challenges and opportunities will be given by Bryan Dierlam, Director, Federal Government Relations, Cargill, Inc. Other speakers include Roger N. Beachy, President Emeritus, Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, and Yafan Huang, PhD, President and Chief Scientific Officer, Performance Plants, Inc.

Following feedback from last year’s successful event, the program has a stronger interactive element with lively debate sessions, where delegates will be invited to share ideas and experiences. There will also be opportunity for networking with industry colleagues in less formal breakout sessions and a networking reception on the evening of day one.

There is a wide choice of sponsorship, hospitality and exhibiting opportunities available for CropWorld North America 2012, which provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure for products and services to an audience of senior decision makers.

Clare King, CropWorld North America 2012 Event Director, said: “The event is an ideal opportunity for delegates to network, exchange ideas and learn about the latest innovations in the industry. Our delegates will gain information about technology in terms of agrochemicals, seed development, fertilisers and machinery.

“There is also an emphasis on sustainability through strategies and management programs which take into account the growing demand for food and the scarcity of resources.”

“CropWorld North America 2012 is an essential event for those in the industry wanting to sustain and develop competitive advantage, retain and recruit the best talent, and stay ahead on legal and regulatory issues,” she said.
