Room 14 – ExCeL ICC Conference Suite

Key note speakers from the first day of CropWorld Global will 2011 taking part in a press conference at 1pm on the 31st October. Speakers will include:

  • Dr Felix M’mboyi, Deputy Director, African Biotechnology Stakeholders Forum
  • Cyrille Filott, Global Head - Europe, Food and Agribusiness Research and Advisory, Rabobank
  • Phil Bloomer, Director of Campaigns and Policies, Oxfam
  • Professor Ian Crute CBE, Chief Scientist, Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board

The speakers will be dealing with questions relating to food security, biotechnology and how the world can feed itself with a rapidly growing population.

At 10.30 following his keynote address the Rt Hon Jim Paice MP, Minister of State for Agriculture and Food will be available to meet the press in room 14.
