Helsinki International Arbitration Day 2015 will convene top international arbitration experts on 28 May 2015 to discuss the topic “Arbitration Efficiency in the 21st Century: Possibilities and Pitfalls”.
The event will be held in Helsinki, Finland - a country known for its efficiency and arbitration-friendliness - and hosted by Finland’s most important arbitration institution, the Arbitration Institute of the Finland Chamber of Commerce (FAI).
Helsinki International Arbitration Day 2015 will address the following questions: “Efficiency in international arbitration: Whose duty is it?”, “How far should the arbitrator go in ensuring efficient proceedings?” and “Can efficiency become a threat to the fundaments of arbitration?”. Speakers include top names in international arbitration including Mr Charles C Adams Jr (USA), Mr Marc Blessing (Switzerland), Mr Franz Schwarz (UK, Germany) and Ms Anke C Sessler (Germany).
