Revenues for the second quarter of 2017
Lier, 6 July 2017: Kid ASA today announces unaudited revenue figures for the second quarter of 2017 (previous year in brackets). For definition of like-for-like stores, please see latest quarterly report at http://investor.kid.no.
- Q2 revenues increased by +4.9% to MNOK 278.4 (MNOK 265.5). Like-for-like sales increased by +2.8%. Online sales increased by +46.7%.
- Revenues were negatively affected by the timing of the Easter holiday in Q2 this year, whereas Easter was in Q1 last year. The number of shopping days in the quarter was 71 (75).
- For the first two quarters of 2017, revenues increased by +5.1% to MNOK 532.3 (MNOK 496.0). Like-for-like sales increased by +5.1%. Online sales increased by +37.3%. The number of shopping days for the first two quarters was 148 (149).
- There were three store openings during the quarter, and two store relocations. The total number of physical stores at the end of the quarter was 137.
Revenue figures for the third quarter of 2017 will be announced on 6 October 2017 at 07:30 (Oslo Time).
