NAPS Sponsors the Japan Society's 9th Annual Golf Tournament

NAPS is a proud sponsor of the Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana’s (JSSDT) 9th Annual AJ Cup Gold Tournament taking place on Saturday, May 14th, 2011 at Salt Creek Golf Club in Chula Vista, CA. 

The golf tournament is a shamble format with a shotgun start at 12:00 PM. A putting contest will take place at 11 AM. Registration opens at 10:30 AM.

A delicious Mexican buffet, silent and live auction along with an awards presentation will take place immediately following the tournament. There are tickets available to attend the awards reception for only $25.

The AJ Cup is named in honor of Mr. Arthur Jonishi, 2002 recipient of the JSSDT Business Leadership Award. AJ was instrumental in choosing San Diego as the home for Kyocera, the first Japanese-parented manufacturing company in CA. In addition, he helped establish and served as the first chairman of Minato Gakuen, a school for children of Japanese expatriate families in the San Diego/Tijuana Region.

The JSSDT is a non-profit membership organization of individuals and corporations with a focus on tri-national relations between Japan, the United States and Mexico.
