The Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana (JSSDT), in conjunction with the San Diego Padres, present “Japanese Community Night” at Petco Park on Friday, May 20th to support the earthquake/tsunami relief effort in Japan.

The series between the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners kicks off Friday, May 20th with Japanese Community Night. Of  each ticket sold for this game, $5 will be donated to the relief and reconstruction efforts. Discounted game tickets are available through the San Diego Padres with the promo code “JAPAN".The first 500 customers will receive a free Padres cap with the Japanese kanji for “wa” (harmony) on the back.

Before you enjoy a great night of baseball, the JSSDT invites you to attend a pre-game “all you can eat and drink” picnic at Petco Park’s Upper Terrace to further benefit relief efforts in Japan. Enjoy BBQ Chicken, hot dogs, potato salad, corn-on-the-cob, watermelon, cookies, soft drinks, and beer. The $30 for the pre-paid picnic is in addition to the game ticket but in this case, all
proceeds will benefit the relief efforts in Japan. Picnic tickets are available through the Japan Society.

NAPS supports the people of Japan in the challenges faced by the devastation resulting from the recent earthquake/tsunami and is a proud sponsor of Japanese Community Night. NAPS has a long standing relationship with our Japanese clients and friends. The historic presence of the Japanese business community in Tijuana has had a profound influence in setting high standards in the maquiladora industry.

You must purchase a ticket for the pre-game picnic in advance and have a ticket to the game in order to attend the picnic. You can purchase game tickets online through the San Diego Padres (promo code “JAPAN”) and pre-game picnic tickets through the Japan Society's website.
