Kindred Group’s Sustainability Report for 2020 includes facts, figures, ambitions and commitments within the five sustainability priority areas: Responsible gambling, Maintaining integrity, Running a compliant business, Being Kindred and Contributing to our communities.

The report includes progress on the Group’s sustainability ambitions and commitments in 2020, including important steps made by the Group on its journey towards zero per cent revenue from harmful gambling by 2023. Kindred has also continued to work on limiting climate impact, entered into new partnerships, launched several initiatives in local communities and continued the development of its diversity, equity and inclusion agenda.

In 2020, Kindred has also revised its purpose statement to better reflect its long-term ambitions. Kindred has always had the ambition to be a leader in creating a safe and secure environment for customers who see gambling as entertainment. Equally, Kindred believes that the Group has a role to play in building a better future for communities. Therefore, its new purpose is to “transform gambling by being a trusted source of entertainment that contributes positively to society”. It is an important purpose that will require close collaboration with regulatory authorities, researchers, partners and our peers.

As previously announced, Kindred Group plc’s Annual General Meeting will be held on 12 May 2021 in Stockholm, Sweden.
