Industriförvaltnings AB Kinnevik sold its subsidiary SMA Maskin AB to Machinium OY, a finish company owned by Lännen and SFK. SMA Maskin AB is one of Sweden's leading distributors of construction equipment, material handling products and diesel engines as a representative for world leading product lines such as Komatsu, Hyster and Cummins. SMA Maskin AB's turnover for 1998 was 437 MSEK.
