Codelocks to showcase KitLock brand of coded locker solutions at FIBO
Essen, Germany, 19th April 2012 – Codelocks is to showcase its KitLock brand of coded locker solutions at FIBO, the international trade show for fitness, wellness and health in Essen, Germany. KitLock is a stylish and colourful alternative to traditional key cam locks that uses a pin-code rather than a key to secure lockers in gyms, leisure centres, sports and fitness clubs.
“In a recent market research survey we discovered that 70% of the gyms, leisure centres, sports and fitness clubs that took part, still use keys to secure the lockers in their changing rooms,” said Grant Macdonald, managing director of Codelocks. “However, key management can be a concern for managers due to the number of keys that get lost or accidently taken home. Using KitLock, clients can simply enter a four-digit PIN, lock and go; free to enjoy their fitness session without having to carry a key around with them or having to use coins or tokens.”
Many gyms, leisure centres, sports and fitness clubs already have contemporary-looking changing rooms. “Almost a third of the respondents to our survey had already upgraded their lockers with new locks,” continues Mr Macdonald. “Half of those cited the need to modernise the look of their changing rooms as the most popular reason. Saving time and money replacing keys was a close second.”
KitLock is available to order in any standard RAL colour and can be seen at FIBO in hall 2 on stand number C/80. To place an order please call Codelocks on +44 (0) 1635 239545, or email sales@kitlock.com

KitLock is a stylish and colourful alternative to traditional key cam locks that uses a PIN rather than a key to secure lockers and cabinets in gyms, leisure centres, schools and hospitals. In locker mode, the PIN will lock and open the locker or cabinet once only and then erase the code. The lock will remain open until the next user resets it. A red LED light will flash to show the locker is in use. If a user forgets the code, it can be unlocked by using a master code. KitLock is available in any standard RAL colour and there are two products in the KitLock range. For more information visit: http://www.kitlock.com/
