Aylesbury, UK, FUZE Technologies Ltd, creator of the FUZE workstation powered by the Raspberry Pi and paired with FUZE BASIC has announced their partnership with the German distributor Watterott.

This strategic alliance has been created in order to replicate the growing success of the FUZE in the UK.

“This new partnership offers an exciting future for us.” Jon Silvera, Managing Director of FUZE Technologies Ltd. “Working closely with Watterott we are looking forward to seeing the addition of the FUZE making a difference in German schools.”

The FUZE powered by Raspberry Pi® is a programmable computer and electronics workstation designed to introduce and develop text based computer programming skills and aid the teaching of programming across all stages of the new schools curriculum.

By combining the Raspberry Pi with the FUZE programming and electronics are introduced in an engaging, motivational and best of all, fun package.

FUZE BASIC, a highly advanced and modernised version of the programming language widely accepted as the easiest to learn and teach is included, preconfigured and ready-to-run.  FUZE BASIC provides the perfect bridge between visual programming environments like Scratch™ and more complex text based programming languages like Python, Java and C.

“The FUZE is a great complement to numerous products we offer and we are looking forward to developing a successful partnership. Powered by the Raspberry Pi, the FUZE offers a range of solid cases, as well as being a learning and teaching platform. FUZE BASIC is a fantastic version of a programming language for most of the open-source items we also stock.” Stated Stephen Watterott

Watterott electronic is an electronics company specialized in Open-Hardware, DIY and development components. The company was founded by Stephan Watterott as a one man business in Hausen in March 2008. The goal was to offer special, hard to find development components and a small number of own products, but as the product range expanded and the in house production expanded, the company moved to a new location in Leinefelde.
