KlaraBo has recruited Kristin Lundmark as its interim Sustainability Manager. She will take up the position in mid-August 2022.

Kristin has for the past several years held the position as Sustainability Manager for Wästbygg Gruppen, where she was responsible for the company’s strategic sustainability activities. She is also certified as an environmental coordinator by the Swedish Green Building Council and has extensive experience of sustainability issues within the construction and real estate industry. She is currently a Sustainability Strategist and founder of Hallå Hållbarhetsbyrå.

“KlaraBo has the expressed objective of building environmentally certified buildings with a low climate footprint and reasonable rent levels. I look forward to continuing to develop strategic sustainability activities at KlaraBo to meet our own high ambitions as well as the expectations and requirements of society,” says Kristin Lundmark.

Through their combined proposal – Boostad – KlaraBo and OBOS recently won the land allocation competition announced by Malmö Municipality to build a sustainable block in Hyllie with a strong focus on long-term and sustainable urban construction.

“Kristin has many years of experience dealing with sustainability issues in the property industry and we are pleased that she has chosen to join us. Sustainability permeates our entire business model and with her experience, Kristin will play a key role in our efforts to meet the strong demand for our housing solutions, which the land allocations in Skellefteå, Växjö and now most recently in Malmö confirm,” says Andreas Morfiadakis, CEO of KlaraBo.
