KlaraBo has signed a new lease. Region Gotland is reopening Fenix Ungkulturhus Cultural Centre at the Stäven 1 property at Jungmansgatan 41 A in Visby. The agreement pertains to 460 square metres and extends for four years. Occupancy will take place on 1 June.

Fenix Ungkulturhus is a cultural centre and meeting place for older teenagers and young adults. The centre offers a number of activities, including a café and spaces to explore creativity. The centre was previously located on Norra Hansegatan. As the centre moves to its new premises, Region Gotland believes it will have even more opportunities to expand its partnerships with a number of players within the framework of the operations.

“It’s great that we have been able to find an exciting new alternative for Fenix’s activities. We did not expect this when we left the previous premises in January. The staff is positive and is looking forward to getting started again. We expect to offer temporary activities during the summer, returning to full speed again after the summer”, says Lena Nordström, head of the Youth Department.

“Region Gotland is an important partner for KlaraBo and we are pleased to be able to further expand our existing partnership with the region", says Robert Pejic, Area Manager East at KlaraBo.

KlaraBo owns two properties in Visby, covering 63,100 square metres and housing approximately 900 apartments.
