Klimator enters the UK market with a new distributor and partner for IoT road weather stations
Klimator joins forces with Rennicks Group to bring IoT road weather stations to the UK market. State, regional and local authorities will benefit from this collaboration by gaining easy access to cost-effective solutions for weather stations.
These weather stations will complement the existing measuring equipment and will create a dense network of local weather input for more accurate winter maintenance. The sensors will increase monitoring capabilities, to optimize precise, necessary, and time-sensitive winter services, for safer roads during the winter months. They will also reduce the environmental impact of excessive usage of salt and other resources for winter maintenance.
Rennicks Group was established in 1986 and is a known and trusted supply chain partner in the Highways Industry, working with a variety of sectors ranging from local authorities and maintenance contractors through the National Highways, Transport Scotland, and Welsh Government agencies.
