Klimator launches camera functionality for road weather stations
As a first step in a continued development plan, a camera function is being launched for Klimator's road weather stations. The product has been developed at Klimator's development department in Odense, Denmark, where the company has its foremost experts in IoT solutions.
In 2018, Klimator launched the first version of the IoT-based road weather station focusing on winter road maintenance with measurements of road surface temperature, air temperature and air humidity. The road weather stations contribute with valuable measurements as input to the calculation of future road laws and as a visual support for decision-makers of state or municipal roads. Klimator RWIS IoT has grown strongly in the Nordic markets since its inception and is today a leader in the Danish, Swedish and Norwegian markets.

About Klimator's IoT Road Weather Stations
Klimator’s road weather station provides real-time information on how weather impacts local road conditions. This data will empower operators to make informed decisions on the appropriate treatments necessary. The data is easily accessible from a browser-based platform or the RSI platform. The data comes in the form of an API so can also be fed into other weather monitoring and forecasting systems if necessary.
