Interim report January-June 2001 # Result improved by MSEK 4.7 excluding items affecting comparability # Profit after net financial items MSEK 11.5 (21.4) # Increased liquidity and solidity Sales The market for both coated and uncoated fine paper continued weak during the second quarter. Orders received for coated paper to the European fine paper industry was still some 15% below that of last year, while the ordering situation for uncoated paper improved marginally during the latter part of the second quarter. Several large producers have introduced production limits during the period in order to reinstate the balance between output and demand. The weak order position in combination with reduced pulp prices have put paper prices under pressure. ------------------------------------------------------------ This information was brought to you by Waymaker http://www.waymaker.net The following files are available for download: http://www.waymaker.net/bitonline/2001/08/24/20010824BIT00460/bit0001.pdf The full report
