Voters Anonymously Selected Nelson as Winner of Fall 2012 Interior Designer Contest
Los Angeles, CA—Dec 11, 2012 … Interior Designer, Kristi Nelson of KMNelson Design (www.kmnelsondesign.com), has won the fall 2012 Interior Designer contest by Witford | Absolute Luxury (www.witford.com), the trade only design showroom which offers a broad range of well-priced ‘new luxury’ designer furnishings from a choice array of high quality manufacturers. Witford invited a select handful of designers to participate in the contest by submitting a photo of a room showcasing their firm’s talent to be placed on the company’s website and votes cast through Facebook set the winner. Hundreds of visitors to the Witford Facebook site cast their votes daily to select the winner. The announcement of the Witford |Absolute Luxury winner was posted by the showroom on October 18, 2012, and is currently featured in depth on the company’s website.
KMNelson Design, LLC submitted and won the contest from a photo of their 2012 Pasadena Showcase House of Design space, The Lady’s Study, which beautifully illustrates how critical space planning, combined with the expert integration of color, texture, fabrics and collected personal objects, elevates even the most mundane rooms into luxurious, extraordinary spaces.

The winning room by KMNelson Design, LLC, shows how luxury can be expressed in distinctive details. Elements such as an exquisite Italian Renaissance-inspired chair, fashion-forward, lush fabrics, and simple yet elegant window treatments, were enhanced with the cosmopolitan display of accessories and collectibles provided by Witford.
