Kristi Nelson’s Historic Hilgard Estate Kicks-off Season of New Beautiful Homes Series on HGTV
Los Angeles, CA – March 08, 2012 … The historic home of Kristi Nelson, interior designer and managing partner of KMNelson Design, LLC (www.kmnelsondesign.com), kicked-off the first episode of HGTV’s Beautiful Homes design show developed by the network for its 2012 season of original programming aimed at Design and Pop culture fans (www.bizjournals.com/prnewswire/press_releases/2012/01/24/CL40847). The Hilgard Estate in Holmby Hills by KMND, LLC anchored a four-home tour episode of Beautiful Homes entitled Spectacular Views & Amazing Architecture (BH101), along with a massive Mediterranean estate in Brentwood, a Studio City home modeled after an 18th-century Italian villa, and a modern mansion in Hollywood Hills.
“So much of what I do in design is about making luxury comfortable and livable,” says interior designer Kristi Nelson. “I get to create emotional responses with color, texture and unique pieces reflective of an individual’s personality when I design a room,” adds Nelson. “It’s the details that create warmth and memories such as family heirlooms or a special piece found at auction that are what make a home truly beautiful.”
