Jonas Magnusson appointed President of UVA International AB

Jonas Magnusson will succeed, on 1 February 2006, UVA’s current President, Johan Söderström, who leaves at the year-end. Jonas, who is 42, has been the technical director of Volvo Powertrain in Köping since 2003.

After graduating as an engineer at the Chalmers University of Technology, Jonas joined ABB Generation AB. Through a number of senior positions he has acquired extensive industrial experience and knowledge. He was President of Preva’s subsidiary, Prevas Engineering, for five years. ”Jonas has the experience and expertise we require and has a long and solid background both as president and manager.
