KMT lowers profit forecast to SEK 80-85M Due to a recent strong decline in the U.S. market, product area Plåtbearbetning will not achieve levels of sales and profits in line with previous expectations. KMT has decided to take additional restructuring measures within Plåtbearbetning in order to adjust to the new situation in the market. This will enhance the product area's possibilities to significantly increase profits during year 2001. According to the new forecast, SEK 15M has been included for restructuring costs within product area Plåtbearbetning, compared to SEK 10M in the previous forecast. As before, a refund from SPP of SEK 24.9M is included. In summary, this means that KMT lowers its prognosis for the full-year profits before taxes to SEK 80-85M. The previous forecast was: Profit before taxes for the full-year is expected to end at level with last year's result (102), extraordinary items included.
