KMT's subsidiary LIDKÖPING receives a breakthrough order from India

Lidköping Machine Tools has received a major order from NEI Ltd. (National Engineering Industries Limited), an Indian bearing manufacturer. The order, which is Lidköping’s first from NEI Ltd, represents a breakthrough on the Indian market. The order consists of a complete system for taper roller bearing ring manufacturing, including handling, measuring equipment, super-finishing and grinding machines. Delivery will take place in 2005. NEI Ltd is one of the largest bearing manufacturer in India manufacturing (under brand name NBC) nearly 3 million bearings per month in over 500 different sizes ranging from 6 mm bore to 1 300 mm outer diameter and has the capacity to manufacture bearings up to 2 000 mm outer diameter.
