The CFO leaves the Group at the year-end

The CFO leaves the Group at the year-end KMT:s present CFO Torbjörn Bäckström will leave the group at year-end after he has been active in the company for more than three years. "I have more or less on a daily basis been travelling between Skellefteå and Stockholm over a period of three years. We have chosen to stay in Skellefteå and it is now time to spend more time with the family", Torbjörn Bäckström says. "KMT is in an exciting developing phase and the ambition is to expand even more on the international market. We are now in the process of finding a successor with an industrial profile with a broad international experience. I expect this process to be completed during the summer, KMTs CEO, Lars Bergström, says. At the end of 2003 KMT acquired a larger business in USA which broadens the groups offer. Over 80 per cent of KMTs business is done abroad and the market in China becomes more important.
