Continued growth and high demand closes the year
Knowit is ending the year strongly, with net sales growth of 70.6 percent in the fourth quarter, combined with an adjusted EBITA margin of 11.5 percent. Net sales are SEK 1,575.9 (923.8) million and the EBITA profit, adjusted for acquisition and integration costs, is SEK 181.1 (108.3) million. The Board suggests a dividend of SEK 7.00 per share for 2021 (to be paid out in two instalments of 3,50 each). Thanks to high demand for the Company’s services, the conditions for continued strong, sustainable, and profitable growth are at hand.
“I am proud to present a strong end to a year that has, in many ways, been extraordinary for us at Knowit. During the year, we have increased the number of employees by almost 50 percent, thanks to the acquisitions of Cybercom and Capacent and our strong employer brand. In parallell, we have managed to keep a focus on what matters most: developing and improving our clients’ operations,” says Per Wallentin, CEO and President.
Knowit continues to see high activity in sales and deliveries of client projects. All business areas delivered in line with expectations. Our largest business area Solutions grew during the quarter, with retained profit and margin – a show of strength, considering that it is the segment most affected by the integration of the Cybercom operations.
The final quarter of the year was shaped by the continued integration of Cybercom and the establishment of the new business area Connectivity. During the quarter, integration of Capacent into the business area Insight also began.
Knowit’s strategy, to grow both organically and through acquisitions, contributes to a reinforced offer and an increased capacity to satisfy demand for more complex assignments.
“We have a strong year behind us and it is gratifying that the Board is suggesting a dividend of SEK 7.0 per share to the AGM. Knowit consists of passionate and skilled employees who jointly contribute to our continued success,” says Per Wallentin.
