Juha Markkanen appointed as new CEO of Knowit Solutions Oy
Juha Markkanen (B.Sc) has been appointed as the new CEO of Knowit Solutions Oy, starting from 1st of September 2023.
Markkanen, who has a long career in management, sales and development positions in the IT industry, will become CEO from the position of Chief Operating Officer of Knowit Solutions Oy. Previously he has worked in the company e.g. as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and acting CEO.

Our great success in our challenging market situation at the beginning of the year confirms that the company's strategic direction is correct, and that we are an important partner for our customers' success. For my part, I would like to thank Tapio Koivisto as a trend setter and the entire Knowit team for building the conditions for this success," says Juha Markkanen.
In his new role Juha Markkanen replaces CEO Tapio Koivisto, who is stepping down from the position. Koivisto has served as CEO of Knowit Solutions Oy since 2021, and before the merger of Knowit and Cybercom as CEO of Cybercom Finland Oy from 2018-2021.
- In the last five years, we have achieved a lot. We have consistently developed a strong foundation for generating customer value, planned a strategy leading us to an even more successful future, and nurtured our culture that develops excellence and promotes sustainability, says Tapio Koivisto.

After my five years as CEO and 20 years of employment, it is time for Juha to continue working with the management team that has been renewed over the past year.
