Knowit gets renewed confidence to digitalize NAV

Knowit has won a procurement procedure for new framework agreements with NAV (the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration). The new agreements mean that Knowit will continue its work to digitalize NAV for the coming four years. The agreement has an estimated value of NOK 3.5 billion and delivery will take place in close collaboration with a small number of main partners.

NAV has chosen its digitalization partners for the next four years and Knowit is the supplier awarded the largest number of framework agreements.

“Naturally, we are both proud and humbled to have been selected by NAV again. It is particularly gratifying that we will be delivering services in so many areas,” says contract manager Snorre Finanger at Knowit.

In recent years, Knowit has gathered extensive experience from working with large public bodies, including the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, the Norwegian Tax Administration, the Norwegian Police, and NAV.

In total, NAV included eight parallel lots in the procurement procedure; agreements were concluded with between two and six suppliers per lot.

Knowit was awarded agreements in the six lots where the company submitted a tender: design services, development of cross-functional teams, agile coaching, system development for cloud-based solutions, solutions, and platforms and data communication. Another two parallel framework agreements will be made public later in 2024.

Fredrik Ekerhovd, Head of Knowit Solutions and leader of Knowit in Norway, emphasizes that this type of assignment is highly significant for Knowit.

“These assignments feel both rewarding and meaningful for our employees. Being able to contribute with cutting-edge expertise in digitalization to make our society a better place is also entirely in line with Knowit’s vision of creating a more sustainable and humane society,” says Ekerhovd.
