EPRA awarded Kojamo’s Financial Statements and Sustainability Report
European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA) has awarded Kojamo’s Financial Statements for 2019 a gold award for the second consecutive year and Kojamo’s Sustainability report for 2019 a silver award. Additionally, Kojamo received Most Improved award for developing its sustainability reporting.
Kojamo’s Sustainability Report on the year 2019 marked the first time the company has applied the EPRA Sustainability Best Practices Recommendations.
EPRA assesses the financial statements and sustainability reports of European listed property companies yearly and awards the best companies. The assessment compares the companies reporting with EPRA’s reporting standards and best practice recommendations.
Sustainability programme creates framework for improving reporting
Kojamo aims at high quality and comprehensive reporting going forward as well. Kojamo is currently developing its sustainability programme to be published during 2020. The sustainability programme is based on a materiality analysis conducted during the summer, ensuring that the company’s sustainability work is focused on the most relevant sustainability topics regarding to its’ strategy, operations and significant stakeholders. The sustainability programme creates also framework for developing the company’s sustainability reporting further.
