Kojamo plc: Kojamo revised its Code of Conduct for employees and cooperation partners
Kojamo has revised its Code of Conduct for employees and cooperation partners. Kojamo operates in full compliance with laws and regulations. Kojamo operates in an honest and fair manner and refrains from any activities that might compromise this commitment. The Group’s operations are firmly founded on its core values: happy to serve, strive for success and courage to change.
Kojamo’s Code of Conduct is a set of guidelines, created for the benefit of the Group’s personnel, describing the practices applied by Kojamo in all interaction and communication with stakeholders, society and the environment. All of the Group’s employees are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct and operate responsibly and transparently. The Code of Conduct replaces the Group’s previous Ethical Code.
Kojamo’s cooperation partners are also required to commit to a corresponding set of guidelines on responsible business known as the Supplier Code of Conduct. The Supplier Code of Conduct is a set of ethical guidelines drafted for Kojamo’s cooperation partners, and all of the participants of Kojamo’s supply chain are required to observe the principles laid out in the Supplier Code of Conduct. The Supplier Code of Conduct applies to all of Kojamo’s purchasing activities. Partners are also responsible for ensuring that their subcontractors operate responsibly, transparently and in full legal compliance in accordance with the Supplier Code of Conduct.
The Code of Conduct includes the Group’s business practices and requirements related to responsible and legally compliant operations, conflicts of interest, combating the grey economy, competing activities, responsibility for employees, bribery and corruption, sponsorship, environmental responsibility and the protection of assets and data.
Kojamo’s Board of Directors approved the revised Code of Conduct for employees and the new Supplier Code of Conduct on 4 November 2020.
At the same time, the guidelines concerning whistleblowing procedures have been specified further for both employees and cooperation partners.
