KONE to equip a new hospital in North Zealand in Denmark

KONE Corporation, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has won an order to supply a suite of People Flow® solutions, including 40 KONE elevators, for a new hospital in North Zealand area.
This new hospital will become an integral part of the business and residential area of Favrholm on Overdrevsvejen south of Hillerød in capital region. It is expected that the hospital will receive and treat around 500,000 patients annually.
KONE's delivery includes 12 KONE MonoSpace® 700 DX elevators and 28 KONE Transys™ freight elevators. In addition, the contract includes KONE E-Link™ service for monitoring equipment while on site and KONE 24/7 Connected Services with one year of standard maintenance. Some of the elevators will be used already during the construction time.

The contractor is NCC. The main architects are Herzog & de Meuron and Vilhelm Lauritzen.
The project is expected to be fully completed in 2025.
KONE booked the order in the first quarter of 2022.
