Available in either single-or double-stacking configurations, Konecranes Empty Container Handling lift trucks were developed to suit a wide range of demanding work environments. They are equipped with the latest technology, including innovations in the chassis design and load-sensing hydraulics, to ensure high performance over a long lifetime.
The foundation of Konecranes’ Empty Container Handlers is in their rigid, box-type chassis, lift masts, and tilt cylinders. The extremely durable construction of these elements ensures long-lasting high performance – no matter the environment.
Empty Container Handlers from Konecranes also feature a smart, smooth, and fuel-efficient load-sensing hydraulic system. Based on variable piston pumps with efficient load-sensing flow and pressure valves, this system provides power on-demand. It uses the engine power only as needed at each moment of the lift, based on the load and required lifting speed. If the operator is driving and not lifting, the system turns off the oil flow, resulting in reduced fuel consumption and reduced engine and drive train wear. It also provides a very precise and smooth feel on the lifting levers or joystick.
