Disclosure under Chapter 2, Section 10 of the Securities Market Act             

Konecranes Plc (ID 0942718-2) has on September 8, 2010, received a disclosure   
under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Market Act, according to which the 
holding of BlackRock, Inc. (USA Tax ID 32-0174421) in Konecranes has exceeded 10
percent. BlackRock held 6,271,713 Konecranes' shares on September 7, 2010, which
is 10.12 percent of Konecranes' shares and votes.                               

Konecranes has a total of 62,002,120 shares. The company has only one class of  
shares and each share entitles to one vote.
