KCI KONECRANES TO ANNOUNCE FIRST QUARTER RESULTS ON 3 MAY

KCI Konecranes will publish its First Quarter Report on Tuesday 3 May 2005 at
10.00 a.m. Finnish Time (8.00 a.m. UK Time). We take pleasure in inviting you to
an earnings presentation and a teleconference.

A luncheon presentation for media and analysts will be held on the same day at
Helsinki World Trade Center, Marski Hall at 12.00 noon Finnish Time (address
Aleksanterinkatu 17). Please inform IR Franciska Janzon of your participation by

A live webcast of the presentation will begin at 12.00 noon Finnish Time and can
