MIIKKA KINNUNEN APPOINTED DIRECTOR, INVESTOR RELATIONS FOR KONECRANES GROUP

Miikka Kinnunen, (32), M.Sc. (Econ), has been appointed Director, Investor
Relations for Konecranes Group effective as of December 1, 2009. 

Miikka Kinnunen has a broad experience in the field of international investor
relations. He joins Konecranes from Carnegie Investment Bank AB, where he
worked from 2001 onwards as financial analyst and in other positions. Mr
Kinnunen will report to Teo Ottola, CFO, Konecranes Group. 

Konecranes' current IR Manager Sanna Päiväniemi has decided to leave Konecranes
to join another company.
