Driveline contract for manual shifters in Europe worth EUR 30 million (NOK 264 mill.)

Kongsberg Automotive’s Driveline business area has received nomination from a major European OEM to supply complete manual gear shifter systems. The shifter systems will be used in B Segment cars which will be sold in Europe under two different brands.

The contract has an estimated total value of EUR 30 million (NOK 264 million) over its 4 year duration. Production from KA’s facilities in Cluses, France will start in the second half of 2017 with peak volumes expected in 2019.
