Ingvar Sviggum appointed new Chairmen of the Board in Kongsberg Automotive

Kongsberg Automotive today announces that, at a meeting of the Board of Directors following the Annual General Meeting on 4 June 2010, Ingvar Sviggum was elected Chairman of the Board.

The election was in accordance with the proposals from the Nomination Committee.

Mr. Sviggum is a Ford Motor Company Vice President. He was appointed Vice President, Marketing, Sales and Service for Ford of Europe on April 1, 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Sviggum was Vice President, European Sales Operations for Ford of Europe, a position he held since July 1999. Mr. Sviggum has been with Ford since he started as trainee in 1963, and he has been a member of Ford’s central management team in Europe since 1989.
