KA awarded multiple automotive control cable contracts valued at EUR 16 million

Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has booked new orders for automotive control cables with a lifetime value of EUR 16 million. These awards are for North American and Japanese OEMs and cover the supply of sun roof cables, fuel cover release cables and shift cables.

 KA will introduce these programs starting 2011 with production in Mexico and China.

The cables are supplied as complete assemblies ready for vehicle installation. Each product is tailor made to meet the customer’s requirements.
