Key European contract for Driveline worth EUR 10 million (NOK 82m)

Kongsberg Automotive’s (KA) driveline business area has been awarded a contract from a major European OEM for supply of a complete manual gear shifter system. The estimated total value of the contract, which is an extension of existing business, is EUR 10 million over its duration.

The shifter system will be used in C Segment cars which will be sold in Europe. Production under the contract will start in the second quarter of 2015 from KA’s production facility in Cluses, France.
