KONGSBERG AUTOMOTIVE SECURES 14 MEUR GEARSHIFT CONTRACT

Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has been awarded a contract for gearshift systems to one of the world's major commercial vehicle manufacturers, located in Europe.

”The contract is for gearshift systems in one of Europe’s top performing truck models. It proves that our products are competitive with respect to low operating costs, best driver satisfaction and high reliability”, says Håkon Amundsen, Vice President Sales for the commercial vehicle market segment in KA.

The contract has a total value of 14 MEUR and will run for 5 years. Start of production will be in 2013 from our production facility in Mullsjø, Sweden.
