KONGSBERG AUTOMOTIVE SECURES A MEUR 12,5 GEARSHIFT SYSTEM CONTRACT WITH A MAJOR EUROPEAN HEAVY-DUTY TRUCK MAKER
Kongsberg Automotive is pleased to announce the award of a gearshift system program for a major European heavy-duty truck producer. The program will start in 2011 and will generate approximately MEUR 12,5 through its duration . The gearshift system has been designed to be compact enough to meet the challenges of less available space in the truck.
The reduction in available space in the engine bay area is driven by the new Euro 6 emission standards which require more space for the engine induction and exhaust treatment systems.
