KONGSBERG AUTOMOTIVE SECURES A MEUR 7.5 GEARSHIFT SYSTEM CONTRACT

Kongsberg Automotive has been awarded a contract for the supply of gearshift systems to a global truck manufacturer. The gearshift systems are based on the new generation cable gearshift system developed at the Kongsberg Automotive R&D centre in Heiligenhaus, Germany. The contract is for the European and Brazilian markets and the estimated life time of the contract is 5 years with a start of production in 2013.
