A combination of column types will be delivered from our Ljungsarp, Sweden facility to our customer’s locations in UK and Brazil with production commencing at the end of 1stquarter 2014.
“Besides the great work from all involved the key to our success has been through KA’s modular design, allowing us to quickly submit design concepts through to prototyping and final production, while offering minimal tooling investment and short lead-times for fully tested parts, giving KA an edge over its competition”, says Håkon Amundsen, VP Sales & Marketing DCS.
“This is a significant change for our customer showing the trust and confidence in both KA and our technologies. This win is the first of many platforms on offer. The potential for further strong growth is a very exciting prospect”, confirms Lars-Olof Johansson, Managing Director of the KA Ljungsarp factory where the steering columns are produced.
