KONGSBERG AUTOMOTIVE TO DELIVER SEAT HEAT SYSTEMS WORTH 13 MEUR (101 MNOK) GLOBALLY

Kongsberg Automotive’s (KA) Interior business area has been awarded a contract for seat heat-systems to one of the world’s premier car brands, located in Germany. The contract is global and is the first seat heat business awarded to KA from this OEM. The new design includes seat heaters with integrated occupants’ detection systems to a large vehicle platform.

Production will be in KA’s facility in Pruszków, Poland. Estimated lifetime revenue is MEUR 13 and start of production will be in 2013.
