KONGSBERG AUTOMOTIVE WINS NEW CONTRACT ON TRUCK SEATS Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has booked a new order valued at MEUR 6,3 (53 MNOK). The new business includes delivery of Seat Heat and Seat Support to the German market, where a German seat maker is preparing the launch of a new seat within the truck segment. The award is an important step on the road to expand the market for existing automotive products, Seat Heat and Seat Support, into the truck segment. The production will start during the first quarter of 2011, and production will take place at the company’s facility in Pruszkow, Poland. “The customer is one of Germany’s leading seat makers within the truck segment and this contract represents a growth of Kongsberg Automotive’s technology within truck seats.
