LARGE ORDER ON GEARSHIFT SYSTEM WITH EXPECTED ANNUAL TURNOVER OF APPROX. 40 MNOK

Kongsberg Automotive has signed a contract for the delivery of a new gearshift system to one of the leading truck manufacturers in the world. The annual value of the contract is approximately 40 MNOK, with deliveries starting from autumn 2008. The contract is expected to run for a long period of time. The contract represents a breakthrough for Kongsberg Automotive. The company will for the first time deliver systems for gearshift to the commercial vehicle market which is based on technology initially developed for the passenger car market. This confirms the positive results Kongsberg Automotive expected to see after implementing the new organizational structure in January 2007.
