Repair issue in Kongsberg Automotive Holding ASA completed

Reference is made to the prospectus dated 5 May 2008 (the `Prospectus`) regarding a share offering of up to 2,777,777 new Kongsberg Automotive Holding ASA shares, with preferential right to allocation for shareholders as of 2 May 2008, except for those shareholders who were given the opportunity to subscribe for shares in the directed share issue as adopted by the extraordinary general meeting of Kongsberg Automotive Holding ASA held on 2 May 2008. On the basis of authorization granted by the extraordinary general meeting held on 2 May 2008, the board of directors of Kongsberg Automotive Holding ASA approved, on 15 May 2008, an issue of 445,714 new Kongsberg Automotive Holding ASA shares at a subscription price of NOK 27 per share (the `Subsequent Share Issue`). The total gross proceeds from the subsequent share issue equals NOK 12,034,278 million. The new shares were subscribed for by those of the company`s shareholders as of 2 May 2008 who were not offered to subscribe for shares in the directed share issue, and who have subscribed for shares in accordance with the Prospectus. Following registration of the new Kongsberg Automotive Holding ASA shares issued in the Subsequent Share Issue, the number of shares in Kongsberg Automotive Holding ASA will increase from 64,718,590 to 65,164,304 each with a par value of NOK 0.50, and the share capital will increase from NOK 32,359,295 to NOK 32,582,152.
