STRATEGIC IMPORTANT ORDERS TO KONGSBERG AUTOMOTIVE

One of the worlds leading truck producers has placed new orders on cabin stabilizers with Kongsberg Automotive. In total the two new orders received from this customer in 2006 represent a yearly turnover of NOK 50 mill. The orders are for deliveries over 5 years. The first order is already in production. The second order is expected to have start up during first half of 2007. - The new contracts for our stabilizer products are positioning us in the forefront within this segment in Europe, and give a good basis for increasing our market share both in Europe and globally, says Executive Vice President Bård Klungseth. Another strategic order taken is for Air Couplings for one of the largest trailer producer to a yearly value of NOK 35 mill with start up in 1. Quarter 2007. In addition Kongsberg Automotive is in final negotiations with all the leading braking system producers for future delivery of our new Air Couplings in composite. - We are taking contracts and important positions in the market for Air Couplings, which make Kongsberg Automotive to one of the leading suppliers both in Europe and globally.
