KONGSBERG signs NOK 280 million JSM contract with the Norwegian Armed Forces

Kongsberg Gruppen (KONGSBERG) has signed a contract with the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organization (NDLO) for part 2 of the Joint Strike Missile (JSM) Phase III development contract announced July 2, 2014.

JSM development work has been going on since 2008 and will be a continuous activity up until the completion of a complete product in 2017. This contract comprises production of test missiles, to be used in the integration activities including test equipment. The contract also includes missile testing and qualification to be performed on the F-16 in the 2015 to 2017 period until the F-35 Block IV becomes available.
