Orrefors Kosta Boda inaugurates a new gallery in Kosta, Sweden
Kosta Boda and Orrefors have a long tradition of producing world class art and our reputation of being creative, artistic and challenging has spread far outside of Sweden. Our artists are known for their originality and ability to surprise, delight and continue to develop techniques in creating art out of glass. In doing this they create fabulous works of art that are now open to the public for viewing in our soon to be opened gallery in Kosta, Sweden.

Our artists are known for their originality and ability to surprise, delight and continue to develop techniques in creating art out of glass. In doing this they create fabulous works of art that are now open to the public for viewing in our soon to be opened gallery in Kosta, Sweden.
The inauguration of the gallery will take place on April 26th at 12:00. The gallery is located in the old office of the Head of the Glassworks, a building dating back to the 19th century. The building has been carefully restored and renovated during the spring and now hosts the unique and beautiful prices of glass art made in Kosta.
The gallery is open to the public and all items shown can be purchased upon request. In the exhibition works of art by Bertil Vallien, Kjell Engman, Ulrica Hydman Vallien and Erika Lagerbielke, just to mention a few, are on display. The gallery is open from 10 am to 5 pm Monday – Friday and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
For those of you who may not visit the beautiful grounds of Kosta so often, we are soon making our art glass available on the web. In the near future, we will launch our updated website where you will be able to view, admire, share and purchase art.
