“From Stilettos to the Stock Exchange”

Details Aldatz’ Life Journey and Heartwarming Success Story

(Laguna Niguel, CA)- Last week, Foot Petals founder and self-made, successful Latina entrepreneur Tina Aldatz announced the nationwide release of her new autobiography, “From Stilettos to the Stock Exchange”, a compelling and heartwarming story of success against all odds.  Tina Aldatz grew up in volatile home where she observed and experienced the painful struggles of a broken home riddled with drug abuse and domestic violence. After emancipating herself from her parents at 15, she committed several years of hard work and dedication to fulfilling her dream of becoming a successful businesswoman.

“As a child of domestic violence and a pediatric burn survivor, I have overcome many challenges in my life. But it wasn’t until I was embraced by the footwear industry, that I really felt like part of a community. I was welcomed with open arms and took the opportunity to turn my traumatic burn injury into an entrepreneurial success story,” said CEO and Entrepreneur Tina Aldatz. “Now it’s my turn to give back. I have committed a portion of the proceeds from my new autobiography, ‘From Stilettos to the Stock Exchange’ to the Two Ten Foundation’s ‘Women in the Footwear Industry’ (WIFI) program. Through supporting women, students and investors across America, I hope to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs to never give up on striving to make their dreams possible.”

Tina Aldatz made her mark on the world as a self-starting entrepreneur and founder of Foot Petals, the revolutionary line of designer insole cushions for women’s high heels. Derived from a severe burn injury on both her feet as a child, Tina created Foot Petals to help fill a gap in the market for women’s high-heeled foot support. Through her strength and tenacity, Foot Petals became a successful multi-million dollar company recognized by Inc. 500 as one of the “500 fastest growing companies in America”. Tina has also been featured in Forbes Magazine as an “entrepreneur to watch” and was honored to become the 2011 National Latina Business Women Association’s (NLBWA) “Business Woman of the Year”.

Currently, Tina is the CEO of Savvy Traveler, a premier lifestyle travel brand dedicated to the health and wellness of the on-the-go consumer. Tina also helps organizations around her community like Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Orange County, Girls Inc., and in 2011 Foot Petals created an endowment through the Two Ten Foundation, focusing solely on scholarships for Women in the Footwear Industry (WIFI). Tina is also Chairwoman of Hispanic 100’s highly regarded Mentorship Program, which helps young, goal orientated Latinos become successful in business and civic engagement through mentored relationships with successful Hispanic professionals. Tina is driven to inspire women in all walks of life to pursue the American dream. She strives to motivate and assist women in business to bring their power and passion to reality.
